The do88 air intake system has been developed to provide the turbo with good filtration, an improved air flow path while maintaining low intake temperatures.

High intake air temperatures are terrible for engine performance, as the turbo would have to build pressure with hot, less dense air. This is why a totally sealed intake system is the only solution to ensure that IATs are kept to a minimum.
